Beaumont Legal Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a leading national law firm on the appointment of a Serious Injury Solicitor to join its growing Scotland team.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor with experience in serious injury or high-value personal injury litigation to join a highly regarded and forward-thinking practice recognised for delivering exceptional client outcomes in complex and life-changing cases.
 
The successful candidate will work alongside nationally recognised specialists within a collaborative and supportive environment, gaining exposure to complex, sensitive, and high-value matters while continuing to develop their technical expertise and long-term career.
 
The Opportunity
You will manage a varied caseload of serious injury matters while supporting on complex and catastrophic injury claims alongside experienced senior colleagues.
 
This role offers the opportunity to work on highly impactful and meaningful cases, providing strategic and compassionate legal advice to clients throughout their journey.
 
The role will involve:

  • Managing serious and high-value personal injury claims
  • Supporting on catastrophic and complex injury litigation
  • Delivering clear, empathetic, and commercially focused legal advice
  • Working closely with colleagues across specialist teams
  • Building strong client relationships throughout the claims process
  • Assisting with business development and profile raising activities
  • Developing technical expertise within a highly respected specialist practice

About You
 
Applicants should ideally possess:

  • Qualified Solicitor in Scotland
  • Ideally 2-5 years' PQE within serious injury or high-value personal injury litigation
  • Experience supporting complex litigated matters
  • Strong communication and client care skills
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset
  • Ability to manage competing priorities effectively
  • Collaborative and resilient approach

Experience within asbestos disease or wider disease litigation would be advantageous, though not essential.
