Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a growing family law practice, managing a varied caseload while advising clients on complex and often high-value matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a broad range of family law matters, including divorce, financial provision, child law and contact/residence disputes
• Advising clients on complex and high-net-worth financial provision cases and delivering clear, practical legal advice
• Representing clients in Sheriff Court proceedings and handling related litigation matters
• Building strong client relationships and contributing to the continued growth and profile of the Family Law department

Applicants should be newly qualified solicitors or have up to 5 years' PQE level in family law, with the ability to manage their own caseload independently and with minimal supervision. Experience of dealing with complex financial provision matters is highly desirable. Candidates should possess strong advocacy and communication skills, excellent client care abilities, and a proactive, commercially aware approach. Family Law Accreditation would be advantageous, although candidates willing to work towards accreditation will also be considered.
