Job Description

The team is among the largest and most established in Scotland, acting for government departments, public sector bodies, and businesses of all sizes.

The role offers exposure to significant litigation from day one, including defending claims in the Employment Tribunal on behalf of government clients, while also advising a wide range of employers and employees on employment law matters. You will handle both contentious and non-contentious work, from tribunal advocacy and drafting witness statements to preparing employment contracts and policies.

The firm is committed to professional development, offering structured support and training through its specialist advocacy academies and a team of accredited employment law experts. You will have the chance to develop your skills in advocacy, dispute resolution, and business development while working in a collaborative environment that values diversity and inclusion.

Candidates should have at least three years’ post-qualification experience, strong tribunal expertise, and a proactive, client-focused approach. Excellent communication skills and commercial awareness are essential, along with the ability to manage a varied workload independently and as part of a team.
