This leading international law firm is recruiting a Senior Residential Development Partner to join its highly regarded Real Estate team in Edinburgh.

Job Description

This is an exceptional opportunity for an established lawyer to take a strategic leadership role within a market-leading residential development practice, advising major developers, housebuilders, investors and affordable housing providers on some of the UK's most significant living sector projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading high-value residential development and strategic land transactions, including development agreements, option agreements, promotion agreements and complex acquisitions/disposals
  • Building and strengthening relationships with housebuilders, residential developers, investors and other key stakeholders across the living sector
  • Driving business development initiatives, enhancing market profile, and contributing to the continued growth of the wider Real Estate practice
  • Mentoring and developing lawyers across the team while supporting innovation, efficiency improvements and strategic business objectives

Applicants should be qualified lawyers with 8+ years' PQE, together with significant experience in residential development, strategic land, build-to-rent, affordable housing or related real estate work. Candidates should have strong commercial acumen, a proven track record of practice development, and the leadership skills required to support both client growth and team development.
