Clark Boyle Solicitors is a well-established Glasgow firm seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join our friendly and experienced team.

Job Description

 

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced private client practitioner to take on a senior role within the firm. The successful candidate will lead a busy and well-established private client department, supported by two experienced paralegals and dedicated administrative/secretarial support.

While applications are welcomed from candidates with a minimum of 4 years’ PQE, we are particularly interested in hearing from solicitors with substantial private client experience. Remuneration will be tailored to reflect experience and seniority.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee a varied caseload within our private client team, including:

  • Wills and estate planning
  • Powers of Attorney
  • Executries and estate administration
  • Delivering clear, practical and empathetic advice to clients
  • Maintaining and developing strong client relationships
  • Providing leadership and guidance within the private client team

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor admitted in Scotland (essential)
  • Minimum 4 years’ PQE in private client work
  • Proven experience managing a broad private client caseload
  • Excellent communication, organisational and client care skills
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively
  • Experience supervising or mentoring support staff would be advantageous
