Job Description

The role offers the opportunity to be involved in a wide variety of pension matters, spanning both advisory and transactional work.

You will support a diverse range of clients including corporates, financial institutions, insolvency practitioners, trustees, and public-sector bodies. The work will cover pension scheme restructures, de-risking, benefit changes, scheme mergers and wind-ups, and pension aspects of major M&A transactions. You will also be encouraged to lead on matters, contribute to business development, and support junior lawyers within the team.

To be considered for this position, you should have at least 7 years’ PQE with strong experience in pensions law (both contentious and non-contentious matters), ideally gained from a large commercial or international firm. A strong understanding of corporate transactions and cross-border work is advantageous, along with excellent client-handling and drafting skills.
