An established national organisation is seeking a qualified solicitor to join its in-house legal team based in Edinburgh.

Job Description

This permanent, full-time position offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of legal matters, with a focus on property transactions and contract law, within a large and diverse charitable setting.

The role involves managing your own caseload of residential and commercial conveyancing matters, leasing, and drafting and negotiating a variety of contracts. The legal team also advises on a broad range of compliance, charity, and regulatory issues and provides support across the organisation at local and national levels.

Applicants should have a minimum of five years’ post-qualifying experience, strong drafting skills, and a current practising certificate from the Law Society of Scotland. A background in both residential and commercial property is essential, and a knowledge of the charity or voluntary sector would be advantageous but is not required.

This is a hybrid role with office presence required in central Edinburgh 3 days per week. The position offers a competitive salary, along with an excellent benefits package including a generous employer pension contribution, flexible working, and enhanced family policies.

This is an opportunity to join a respected and values-driven organisation where your legal skills will directly support community-focused work across Scotland and beyond.

If this position may be of interest, please contact Teddie or Cameron for a confidential initial discussion. (Assignment 17405)
