This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced solicitor to take on a senior, client-facing role within a supportive and reputable department known for delivering quality legal advice.
The role will involve working on a broad range of private client matters, including:
Handling wills, powers of attorney, executries, trusts, and wider estate planning
Managing a varied personal client caseload with minimal supervision
Providing clear, empathetic advice and maintaining strong client relationships
Supporting the department through mentoring, internal collaboration, and high-quality service delivery
The firm is seeking a solicitor with around 10 years’ PQE, with strong experience across private client matters, particularly wills, POAs, and executries. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, strong knowledge of Scottish private client law, and experience in a client-facing environment. Enthusiasm, professionalism, and the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues are essential. STEP membership is preferred, although the firm will support candidates who wish to obtain the qualification.
