Senior Associate – Employment & Pensions

Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced employment lawyer to work with leading national and international clients on a broad range of complex and high-profile matters, while playing an active role in the continued growth of a highly regarded practice. The role offers exposure to advisory, transactional, and project-based work across a variety of sectors and jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advising clients on a wide range of employment law matters, including day-to-day HR issues, restructures, investigations, senior exits, outsourcing projects, and workforce change programmes.
• Supporting corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and other business-critical projects.
• Working on domestic and international employment matters, collaborating with colleagues across multiple jurisdictions.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships while delivering commercially focused legal advice.
• Contributing to business development activities, client seminars, and thought leadership initiatives.
• Coaching and mentoring junior members of the team and supporting their professional development.

Applicants should have significant employment law experience, ideally gained within a leading private practice environment. Candidates should possess strong technical expertise, excellent drafting and analytical skills, and experience advising large businesses on employment-related matters. Exposure to transactional support work and international clients would be advantageous. Strong communication skills, commercial awareness, and a proactive approach to client service are essential.
