The successful candidate will support clients across all aspects of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and title transfers.
You will deliver high-quality, pragmatic legal advice while guiding clients through the conveyancing process efficiently and professionally. This position also offers the opportunity to contribute to team development and uphold the firm’s strong reputation for client service.
Key Responsibilities
Advising clients on offers received and taking clear, accurate instructions.
Providing guidance on making offers for properties clients wish to purchase.
Managing the full conveyancing process to ensure a smooth client experience.
Reviewing and reporting on title deeds and identifying any issues.
Drafting legal documents and handling standard securities.
Acting on behalf of lenders in relevant transactions.
Managing your own caseload and maintaining effective time management.
Mentoring trainee solicitors and junior team members.
Upholding professional standards and contributing positively to team culture.
The role can be full or part time and requires a minimum of three years’ post-qualification experience in residential conveyancing, along with current Notary Public status. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent organisational ability, and confidence working under pressure. Proficiency with IT systems and digital workflows is essential, as is experience using case management software. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player with the ability to manage client expectations effectively.
