Job Description

Residential Property Senior Associate / Partner – Edinburgh
£100K - £145k neG (DOE) + Comprehensive Benefits Package.

Strategic Leadership Opportunity | Edinburgh & Lothians | Excellent Career Prospects
A rare opportunity to lead, develop and shape the future of an established Residential Property practice.

Beaumont Legal Recruitment has been instructed by a highly regarded, full-service Scottish law firm to appoint an experienced Residential Property Senior Associate or Partner to take a leading role in developing its Residential Property offering across Edinburgh and the Lothians.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious Residential Property lawyer looking to move beyond a traditional fee-earning role and take genuine ownership of a practice area's strategic direction, commercial development and future growth.

Working closely with the firm's senior leadership team, you will take the lead in developing and implementing a strategy to grow the Residential Property practice, strengthen its market presence and expand its client offering throughout Edinburgh and the Lothians.

Your responsibilities will include:

Leading and driving the strategic growth of the Residential Property practice across Edinburgh and the Lothians.
Developing new business opportunities and strengthening relationships with existing clients, estate agents, financial advisers and professional introducers.
Managing and developing key client relationships while delivering an excellent standard of service.
Identifying opportunities to increase market share, generate new instructions and expand the firm's regional presence.
Developing the team's capabilities and playing an active role in mentoring and supporting colleagues.
Working collaboratively with other practice areas to maximise cross-referral and wider business opportunities.
Contributing to the firm's wider commercial strategy and long-term growth objectives.

You will be an established Residential Property Solicitor operating at Senior Associate, Legal Director or Partner level, with the technical expertise, commercial awareness and ambition to take a leading role in developing a successful practice.

You will ideally offer:

Extensive experience across Residential Property, including sales, purchases and more complex residential transactions.
A strong understanding of the Edinburgh and Lothians property market.
Established client relationships and a network of professional contacts and introducers.
A demonstrable ability to develop business, generate new instructions and build lasting client relationships.
The leadership qualities and commercial vision to shape and grow a successful team.
The ambition to take ownership of a practice area and make a meaningful contribution to the firm's future success.

An established client following would be advantageous, although the firm is equally interested in individuals with the credibility, drive and commercial acumen to develop their own network and build a successful practice.

This is much more than a conventional senior appointment. You will have the opportunity to influence the future direction of the Residential Property practice, develop its market presence and build a team and service offering with the backing of an established and highly regarded Scottish law firm.

For the right individual, this offers genuine strategic influence, commercial opportunity and the scope to make a significant impact.

If you are an experienced Residential Property lawyer looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to take a leading role in shaping the future of a practice, I would welcome a confidential conversation.
