If you've been waiting for an opportunity where you can genuinely build a long-term career rather than simply move jobs, this could be exactly what you've been looking for.

Job Description

This is a rare opportunity to join a long-established and highly respected private practice where you'll become an integral part of a small, friendly and supportive team. You'll be trusted to manage your own caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from initial instruction through to completion, enjoying the autonomy to run your files independently without being micromanaged, whilst always having experienced colleagues on hand whenever support or guidance is needed.

The team has built an excellent reputation for providing a personal, client-focused service, so if you enjoy developing strong client relationships and delivering an exceptional client experience, you'll fit in well here.

What really sets this opportunity apart is the long-term potential.

This isn't simply a vacancy created by someone leaving. It's a genuine succession planning opportunity. The Director is looking towards retirement over the next three to five years and is keen to find the right person to mentor, support and invest in over that period. For the right individual, there is the potential for that transition to happen even sooner. If you're ambitious and looking to become a key part of a firm's future, opportunities like this are genuinely few and far between.

You'll already have a minimum of one year's experience of successfully managing your own residential conveyancing caseload from start to finish and be confident dealing directly with clients. Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for providing outstanding client service are essential.

If you already have experience of Private Client work, that's certainly an advantage. However, if you're looking to broaden your expertise, you'll be fully supported to develop your skills in this area. The firm is genuinely committed to helping people grow, and cross-training is actively encouraged for those who are keen to expand their knowledge.

This is a firm where you'll be trusted, valued and given the opportunity to shape your own career. You'll enjoy genuine flexibility, hybrid working (two days from home following an initial settling-in period), ongoing learning and development and a collaborative working environment where everyone works together and support is always available when needed.

On offer is a competitive salary, together with an outstanding long-term career opportunity where your contribution will be recognised, your development encouraged and your progression genuinely supported.

Even if you're not actively looking, I'd still encourage you to get in touch for a confidential chat. Opportunities with this level of progression, flexibility and long-term potential don't come onto the market very often.

This role is office based but you will be able to enjoy hybrid working after an initial settling in period.
