This is a great opportunity for a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor looking to join a busy and successful property team where client relationships and providing a genuinely personal service really matter.

Job Description

You’ll manage your own varied residential conveyancing caseload, handling transactions from initial instruction through to completion. Your work will include sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of title, with plenty of direct contact with clients throughout.

You’ll guide clients through what can often be a stressful process, providing clear, practical advice and doing everything you can to make their transaction as straightforward as possible. You’ll examine and report on title deeds, draft and review legal documentation and liaise with clients, lenders, other solicitors and relevant third parties to keep transactions moving smoothly.

You’ll have the autonomy to manage your own workload and priorities, but you certainly won’t be working in isolation. You’ll be part of a friendly and supportive conveyancing and estate agency team where people work closely together, share knowledge and help one another when needed.

I’m keen to speak with Scottish qualified Solicitors from around 6 months through to 5 years’ PQE who already have residential conveyancing experience. You’ll be confident managing transactions, organised and commercially aware, but just as importantly you’ll genuinely enjoy dealing with people and building strong client relationships.

There will also be the opportunity to become involved in networking and business development, helping to develop your own profile and contribute to the continued growth of the property team.

You’ll be comfortable using Microsoft Office and legal case management systems and, as there may occasionally be a requirement to provide cover across branch offices, a full driving licence is required.

For someone earlier in their career, there will be plenty of support to continue developing your technical skills and confidence. Equally, if you’re already an experienced conveyancer, there is scope to take on greater responsibility and play an increasingly important role within the team.
