I'm working with a well-regarded firm who are looking for an ambitious and motivated Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join their team.

Job Description

This is a genuinely nice opportunity for someone who enjoys running their own caseload but also wants to feel part of a supportive and collaborative environment.

In this role, you’ll manage a full range of residential conveyancing matters from start to finish, including sales, purchases and re-mortgages. You’ll have the autonomy to handle your own files while being supported by an experienced team around you, with a clear focus on delivering a smooth and high-quality service to clients.

Alongside managing your caseload, you’ll be working towards achievable fee income targets and keeping on top of time recording and file progression. The emphasis here is on keeping things moving efficiently and maintaining a consistent, organised approach rather than being micromanaged.

There’s also the opportunity to get involved in the wider side of the role if that’s something you enjoy. This could include building relationships with clients and introducers, supporting marketing activity, attending networking events, and contributing to the ongoing growth of the residential conveyancing offering. That said, the firm is realistic and flexible—business development is encouraged, but not forced.

You’ll be joining a team that works closely together, shares knowledge, and values a positive working environment just as much as strong performance. Regular team interaction and collaboration are a big part of the culture here.

The firm is ideally looking for someone who is confident managing their own residential conveyancing caseload, takes pride in delivering a good client experience, and stays organised in how they work. Keeping up to date with legal and regulatory developments is expected, and an interest in contributing to the wider success of the team would be welcomed.

Overall, this is a role that offers a good balance—solid, consistent work, a friendly team, and the opportunity to develop your experience and profile over time without unnecessary pressure.

A competitive salary, generous benefits and following successful probationary period some hybrid working.
