An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Conveyancing Partner to join a top-tier Legal 500 law firm with an established network of offices throughout Scotland.

This is a strategic senior appointment for an accomplished residential property lawyer who is looking for a strong platform from which to develop their practice, expand their client and referrer relationships and play an influential role in the continued growth of an already highly regarded property offering.

The Opportunity

As a senior member of the Residential Property practice, you will take a leading role in developing client relationships, generating new business and contributing to the strategic growth of the team across Scotland.

Your role will include:

Leading residential property matters – Advising clients on a broad range of high-quality residential transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, complex conveyancing and higher-value property matters.
Client development – Building and maintaining strong relationships with private clients and ensuring an exceptional level of service throughout the transaction.
Business development – Developing relationships with estate agents, developers, financial advisers, mortgage brokers and other key introducers to generate sustainable new business.
Practice growth – Identifying opportunities to expand the firm's Residential Property offering and increase market share across Scotland.
Leadership – Supporting, mentoring and developing solicitors, paralegals and other members of the Residential Property team.
Cross-referrals – Working collaboratively with colleagues across Private Client, Family, Corporate and other practice areas to maximise opportunities across the firm's extensive client base.
Strategic input – Contributing to the wider direction, commercial performance and future development of the Residential Property practice.
Market presence – Acting as an ambassador for the firm and further strengthening its profile within Scotland's residential property market.

About You

We are interested in confidentially speaking with Residential Conveyancing Partners, Legal Directors and senior residential property lawyers operating at or approaching Partner level.

You will ideally bring:

Significant experience within Scottish residential conveyancing.
Strong technical expertise and the ability to oversee complex and higher-value transactions.
An established network of clients, introducers and professional contacts.
A demonstrable track record of developing new business and building successful professional relationships.
Strong commercial awareness and an entrepreneurial approach to practice development.
Leadership experience and an interest in developing and mentoring other members of the team.
Excellent client-management and communication skills.
The ambition to play an influential role in the future growth of a substantial Scottish Residential Property practice.
