This would be a great opportunity for someone who already has good residential conveyancing experience and is looking for a role where they can take real responsibility for their own workload while being part of a friendly and supportive team.
You’ll manage a varied caseload of residential property transactions from initial instruction through to completion, dealing with sales, purchases and the associated conveyancing documentation. This will include drafting and reviewing missives, dispositions and standard securities, carrying out title checks and dealing with Registers of Scotland.
There is plenty of client contact, and you’ll liaise regularly with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors to make sure transactions progress smoothly. You’ll also deal with the post-settlement side of matters, including registrations and LBTT submissions, as well as ensuring files and case management records are kept accurate and up to date.
I’m keen to speak with experienced Conveyancing Paralegals who have at least two years’ experience and a relevant paralegal qualification. You should be comfortable managing your own workload, have good attention to detail and, importantly, enjoy dealing with clients.
You’ll be joining a collaborative team where your experience will be valued and where there is genuine scope to continue developing your career.
A competitive salary is available depending on experience, together with opportunities for ongoing professional development and progression.
