The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join a well-established and highly regarded legal practice based in Glasgow City Centre.
This is a stand-alone role offering a high degree of autonomy and responsibility. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from initial instruction through to completion, providing clients with a seamless and professional service throughout the transaction process.
This position would suit a confident and commercially minded conveyancing professional who enjoys working independently and takes pride in delivering exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
Managing a full residential conveyancing caseload from inception to completion.
Handling sales, purchases, transfers of title, remortgages and new build transactions.
Liaising directly with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and third parties.
Drafting and reviewing conveyancing documentation.
Conducting title examinations and property searches.
Preparing settlement statements and completion documentation.
Managing registration processes with Registers of Scotland.
Ensuring all transactions are progressed efficiently and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Providing a high standard of client care throughout the conveyancing process.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
Proven experience handling a residential conveyancing caseload with minimal supervision.
Strong knowledge of Scottish residential conveyancing procedures.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong communication and client relationship management abilities.
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
A proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
The ability to prioritise competing deadlines effectively.
