Residential Conveyancing Paralegal

Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join our property team.  Must be qualified but no minimum post-qualified experience necessary. There is scope for offering part-time hours and for working remotely.  We would, therefore, consider applicants based anywhere within Scotland.  Salary would be dependant upon experience but up to £48,000 p.a. (not including bonus).

Main duties and responsibilities: -

• Dealing with all aspects of residential conveyancing including sales, purchases, transfers and re-mortgages.
• Meeting clients to note instructions and following transactions through to settlement.
• Managing caseload efficiently. Providing a high-level service to clients. Working with the partners and other colleagues, including secretarial and cashroom staff.

Essential Skills and Attributes: -

• Must be a Law Society Accredited Paralegal.
• Highly organised.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work to deadlines, prioritise effectively and manage workload.
• IT skills. Understanding of relevant online systems: Registers, HMRC, etc. Experience using LawWare would be helpful.
