This well-established Scottish law firm is currently recruiting a solicitor to join its leading Renewable Energy team, based in the Central Belt.

Job Description

The firm advises a high-profile client base that includes developers, landowners, funders, investors, communities, and planning authorities, with a strong reputation across Scotland’s renewables industry.

The role offers a broad and stimulating workload, including drafting and negotiating exclusivity agreements, options and leases, and supporting due diligence processes for major transactions. You will assist clients on legal matters across a variety of projects, including onshore and offshore wind, hydro, solar (both rooftop and ground-mounted), battery storage, and marine energy.

This position is suited to candidates with 2–6 years’ PQE, either with experience in the energy sector or from a commercial property or rural background seeking to transition into this fast-growing and dynamic area. You will be supported with training and encouraged to actively participate in industry events and thought leadership opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity with a dynamic firm offering hybrid working, sector leadership, and clear pathways for development.

If this role is of interest, please do not hesitate to contact either Cameron or Teddie for an initial and confidential discussion. (Assignment 17574)
