QED Legal is working with a top-tier international law firm that is looking to appoint a Corporate Crime & Regulatory Solicitor (3+ PQE) into its well-established and expanding team in Edinburgh or Glasgow.
This role offers the opportunity to work at the sharp end of complex, high-profile corporate crime and regulatory matters, often involving multi-jurisdictional elements and sophisticated client demands. From the outset, you’ll be closely involved in regulatory investigations, compliance and advisory work, white-collar crime, internal investigations and risk management, acting for a diverse client base that includes major corporates, financial institutions and regulated entities.
You won’t be siloed or hidden behind layers of hierarchy. Instead, you’ll work directly with experienced partners and senior lawyers who are recognised leaders in this space, gaining early exposure to clients and being trusted with a meaningful level of responsibility. The team is known for its collaborative approach, technical excellence and ability to handle sensitive matters with commercial insight and discretion.
Corporate crime and regulatory work in Scotland continues to accelerate, and 2025 has proven this to be a continued growth area throughout 2026, with firms investing heavily in talent and capability as demand increases. This appointment forms part of a broader strategic focus on strengthening the firm’s disputes and regulatory offering, both in Scotland and across its wider international network.
The culture is professional but refreshingly down-to-earth. You’ll find an environment that values teamwork, knowledge-sharing and long-term development, with clear and transparent progression routes for those who want to advance their careers. Flexible working and a genuinely supportive approach to work-life balance are very much part of the package.
This opportunity would suit a solicitor with experience in corporate crime, regulatory investigations, disputes or compliance, who is looking to step into a role offering greater complexity, visibility and international exposure. Equally, if your background is broader but your long-term ambition lies in this area, there is scope to further specialise within a market-leading platform.
