Key Responsibilities:
Managing the administration of executries and trusts, including both straightforward and complex estates
Advising clients on succession planning, inheritance tax, and related private client matters
Drafting legal documentation and correspondence in connection with executries and trust work
Managing your own caseload, proactively progressing matters and liaising with clients and third parties
Maintaining regular client contact, both in person and remotely, and managing client expectations
Working collaboratively with colleagues to support team delivery and shared workloads
The firm is seeking a qualified solicitor with at least 1 year PQE level, or equivalent experience, with a background in executries and private client work under Scots law. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities are essential. Candidates should be confident working with a degree of autonomy while knowing when to seek guidance from supervisors.
