This is a newly created role, offering the opportunity to play a key part in knowledge development, innovation, and technical support within a well-established and expanding team.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting fee earners with complex legal research and technical queries in tax, succession and asset protection matters
Developing and maintaining precedents, style documentation and knowledge resources
Monitoring legal developments and delivering internal training and technical updates
Driving innovation in processes, including the use of AI, automation and legal technology
Contributing to onboarding, trainee development and internal knowledge sharing
Supporting marketing, business development and legal directory submissions
Applicants should have at least 5 years’ PQE with strong technical expertise in private client, particularly tax and succession planning under Scots law. Previous PSL or knowledge-focused experience would be advantageous but is not essential. Candidates should be confident communicators, detail-focused, and interested in innovation and improving legal processes.
You will be joining a collaborative Private Client team of around 50 professionals, in a role that reports into senior leadership and offers excellent scope to influence how knowledge, training and innovation are delivered across the practice.
