Lows Orkney are in the search for a Solicitor to join their property conveyancing team - Apply now!

Job Description

A new kind of opportunity for Scottish solicitors — live in Orkney for two years, with a great salary, travel allowance, and subsidised move-in-ready accommodation arranged.

We know relocating can feel like a big step, so we’re making it easier.

Lows Orkney is offering a two-year solicitor position for those who’d like to experience island life without a long-term commitment.

You’ll take a leading role in our property conveyancing team, supported by a friendly, well-established practice working across local and mainland matters. Some private client work may also form part of the role.

For the right candidate:

  • Market-leading salary (£60,000–£80,000 DOE)
  • Travel allowance to and from the mainland
  • Subsidised, move-in-ready accommodation arranged
  • Relocation support with eligible costs
  • A genuinely supportive and welcoming team

This role is ideal for a Scottish-qualified solicitor with property conveyancing experience (essential) who is open to something a little different — the chance to live and work in one of the most beautiful parts of Scotland while building valuable experience.

Whether you fall in love with island life and stay longer, or see it as a two-year adventure, we’ll keep the move as smooth as possible.
