If you're an experienced Projects or Commercial solicitor looking to work on some of the UK's most significant energy and infrastructure projects—without sacrificing flexibility—this is an opportunity worth exploring.

I'm working with a highly regarded national practice that is continuing to invest in its market-leading Projects team. They're looking to appoint a solicitor with 4+ years' PQE to work alongside an established partner recognised for advising on complex infrastructure, project finance and renewable energy matters across the UK.

This role offers the rare opportunity to work fully remotely, while remaining involved in sophisticated, high-value work for an impressive client base.

The Opportunity:

You'll join a collaborative and ambitious team advising a broad range of public and private sector clients, including government bodies, investors, developers, project companies, infrastructure funds, lenders and service providers.

The work is varied, intellectually stimulating and sits at the forefront of the UK's evolving infrastructure and energy landscape.

Your caseload is likely to include:

  • Renewable energy projects including onshore and offshore wind, solar, battery storage, hydro and energy-from-waste.
  • Major infrastructure projects across transport, healthcare, education, defence, housing and waste.
  • Project finance transactions and commercial contracts.
  • PPP/PFI and other public infrastructure delivery models.
  • Secondary market transactions, refinancings, acquisitions and disposals of project interests.
  • Complex public procurement and government projects.
  • Ongoing operational and commercial advice for established infrastructure and energy assets.

You'll work closely with an experienced partner who has built an outstanding reputation in the market, advising on nationally significant projects and acting for many of the sector's leading participants.

About You:

You'll be a qualified solicitor with 4+ years' PQE and experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Projects
  • Commercial contracts
  • Energy
  • Infrastructure
  • Project finance
  • Construction or infrastructure-related transactions

Candidates with strong commercial drafting skills and an interest in developing a specialist projects and energy practice are particularly encouraged to apply.

Why Apply?

  • Fully remote working with genuine flexibility.
  • High-quality, complex work from day one.
  • Exposure to nationally significant energy and infrastructure projects.
  • Work alongside a recognised expert in the sector.
  • Excellent client contact and responsibility.
  • A supportive and collaborative team culture.
  • Clear opportunities for career progression and long-term development.
  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

If you're looking for a role that combines market-leading work with the flexibility to work from anywhere in the UK, I'd be delighted to tell you more.
