This well-established Scottish law firm is recruiting a Private Client Solicitor to join its Glasgow office.

Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced solicitor to take a leading role within the Private Client team, managing a varied caseload while helping to support the continued growth of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising clients on wills, estate planning, powers of attorney and executry administration
  • Providing guidance on succession planning and inheritance tax matters
  • Assisting with trusts and guardianship matters where appropriate
  • Managing your own caseload and building long-term client relationships
  • Delivering practical, client-focused advice across a range of private client matters
  • Supporting the ongoing development and profile of the Private Client practice

Applicants should have at least 4 years’ PQE and solid experience across wills, powers of attorney, executries and estate planning under Scots law. Strong communication and client care skills are essential, along with the ability to manage matters independently. A STEP qualification would be advantageous, although candidates willing to work towards the qualification will also be considered.

The firm offers a competitive salary, flexible and hybrid working arrangements, a high-quality caseload, and ongoing support for professional development, including STEP progression. Candidates seeking part-time work are also encouraged to apply.

If this role sounds of interest, please contact Teddie or Cameron for a confidential discussion. (Assignment 18463)
