BCL Legal is delighted to be working with a highly respected Scottish law firm as it seeks to appoint an experienced Private Client Solicitor (5+ PQE) to join its successful team in Glasgow. The Role
This role offers a dynamic mix of high-quality private client work, leadership potential, and the chance to play a key part in the ongoing development of the practice.
· Managing a broad caseload of high-value private client work, including:
o Wills, trusts, and tax planning
o Estate administration and succession planning
o Powers of attorney and guardianships
· Acting for a wide range of clients including HNW individuals, business owners, and families
· Taking a proactive role in business development and client relationship management
· Mentoring junior colleagues and supporting team development
· Potential to develop a specialism or expand into areas like cross-border estates or complex tax structuring
· Strategic input into team direction and growth

About You
You’ll be an experienced and commercially aware private client solicitor ready to take the next step in your career within a forward-thinking and supportive environment.
· 5+ years PQE in private client work, ideally with experience in HNW and complex matters
· Excellent technical skills in wills, trusts, executries, tax planning, and POAs
· Confidence managing your own clients and caseload with minimal supervision
· Demonstrated experience or appetite for supervising and mentoring junior colleagues
· Strong interest in business development and building long-term client relationships
· A proactive, collaborative, and growth-focused mindset
