Private Client Solicitor – 2+ PQE

Job Description

We are looking to recruit a talented Private Client Paralegal to join our friendly and well-established high street firm.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced paralegal who enjoys working closely with clients and providing practical, compassionate support across a broad range of private client work, including wills, Powers of Attorney and executry matters.

The Role

You will assist with a varied private client caseload, with particular focus on preparing wills, assisting with Powers of Attorney, and supporting executry administration from initial instruction through to completion.

You will work closely with clients, families, solicitors and colleagues across the firm, playing an important role in delivering a high-quality, personal service to our local client base.

The Candidate

• Previous experience working within a Private Client department in a Scottish legal firm is essential, together with a keen interest in this area of law.
• Experience assisting with wills, Powers of Attorney and executry matters.
• A good knowledge and understanding of private client work, with the ability to keep up to date with developments in the law and tax regulations.
• Excellent client care, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the team and clients.
• Confident working on files with appropriate supervision and support.
• An enthusiastic approach and the ability to manage time effectively to complete tasks.
• A practical, organised and personable approach and ability to work in a team environment.
