Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced private client lawyer to work with a diverse client base, including high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners and trustees, while playing a key role in the continued success of a market-leading practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising clients on wills, succession planning, trusts, executries and wealth preservation matters
  • Providing inheritance tax and estate planning advice tailored to clients' personal and family circumstances
  • Managing complex private client matters and building long-term relationships with clients and professional advisers
  • Supporting the development of junior team members and contributing to business development initiatives within the wider practice

Applicants should have at least 6 years' PQE with strong experience in Scottish private client work. Candidates should be technically strong, commercially aware, and confident managing complex matters independently while delivering exceptional client service. STEP qualification would be advantageous, although it is not essential.

You will be joining a highly respected team with an outstanding reputation in the Scottish market, offering high-quality work, excellent client exposure, and clear opportunities for career progression within a collaborative and supportive environment.
