You'll join an established and highly regarded Private Client team advising individuals and families on everything from straightforward estate planning through to more complex trusts, executries and succession matters.
The work is broad and varied. You'll advise on Wills and Powers of Attorney alongside executry administration, including complex and tax-paying estates. You'll also handle inheritance tax planning, including APR and BPR, as well as the creation and ongoing management of trusts, asset protection and more technical trust matters.
There is also the opportunity to become involved in complex and contentious executry and trust work, so this certainly isn't a role where you'll simply be dealing with straightforward Wills and executries.
You'll be trusted to manage your own caseload independently, whilst working collaboratively with experienced colleagues on larger or particularly complex matters. Client relationships are important, and you'll be encouraged to become involved in business development and contribute to the continued growth of the team.
Ideally, you'll have around five years' post-qualifying experience or more within Private Client, although there is flexibility around level for someone with the right experience and technical ability.
Perhaps most importantly, this is somewhere you can continue to build your career and deepen your Private Client expertise, whilst working with experienced colleagues and having access to a genuinely high-quality caseload.
The role is based in Perth and is available on a full-time basis, although part-time and flexible working arrangements will also be considered.
