Beaumont Legal Recruitment is working with a highly regarded law firm seeking an experienced Plot Sales Paralegal / Conveyancing Executive to join its established residential development team.
The team acts for leading housebuilders, developers and investors across Scotland and the wider UK, handling a high volume of residential development transactions.
The Role
You will support a busy Plot Sales team, managing the conveyancing process from reservation through to completion.
Responsibilities will include:
Preparing and issuing plot sale missives and settlement documentation.
Dealing with pre-contract enquiries and completion statements.
Managing completion and registration procedures.
Handling part-exchange and chain-break transactions.
Preparing and submitting online tax returns.
Dealing with Registers of Scotland and online registration systems.
Ordering conveyancing searches.
Opening, managing and closing files.
Liaising with clients and other solicitors to ensure an efficient transaction process.
About You
Previous experience in residential conveyancing, ideally within plot sales.
Good understanding of Scottish conveyancing and registration procedures.
Confident managing your own caseload and meeting deadlines.
Excellent organisational, communication and client service skills.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
A proactive, flexible and team-focused approach.
