The role involves a broad mix of planning and consenting work, including matters under the Electricity Act 1989, Planning Act 2008, Town and Country Planning Acts, and Transport and Works Acts. Experience with inquiries, judicial reviews, compulsory purchase, and environmental assessments is highly valued, though candidates with relevant sector experience outside of planning law will also be considered.
Applicants should be qualified in Scotland or England & Wales with a minimum of 1 year’s post-qualification experience.
This is a rare opportunity to join a collaborative, independently recognised team operating at the forefront of the industry. The firm offers genuine flexibility, a strong progression path, and a supportive, modern working environment.
