Job Description

Solicitor - Personal Injury (PART TIME)
Location: Edinburgh / Glasgow (Hybrid)
Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 plus Bonus and Benefits 

Our client is a national law firm that are looking for a Solicitor to join their Personal Injury team. This is a unique, part time role which requires someone for a minimum of 21 hours a week.

What you will do:

  • Be responsible for supervising a team of solicitors, trainee solicitors and paralegals.
  • Manage your own caseload of complex personal injury cases including RTA, public and occupier liability.
  • Draft legal documents for cases ranging from Simple Procedure, Summary & Ordinary Cause to Court of Session actions.
  • Advise clients on the implications of legal documents, taking statements, ingathering and assessing evidence, co-ordinating investigations and instruction of necessary expert witnesses and counsel, and conducting advocacy in sheriff court hearings.

Who you are: 

  • Have prior personal injury/litigation experience in a similar role.
  • Be comfortable working effectively as a leader.
  • Ideally 2+ years PQE.
