I am delighted to be partnering with a top 50 UK law firm in their search for an NQ Solicitor to join their highly regarded Pensions advisory team in Edinburgh. This dynamic group delivers expert guidance to many of the world’s leading companies, tackling a wide array of complex pensions issues. Their commitment to providing sophisticated, tailored advice has earned them a distinguished reputation within the industry.

As a member of this team, associates gain exposure to all facets of pension scheme work, including the creation and restructuring of occupational pension schemes, representing clients in employment tribunals and court proceedings related to pensions disputes, and advising on the investment of pension assets. This comprehensive approach ensures clients receive robust support at every stage.

The ideal candidate will be a Scottish-qualified NQ Solicitor with a solid grounding in Pensions Law, acquired through their traineeship—whether from an advisory or contentious perspective. They should be confident working independently, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to navigate evolving regulations and foster strong client relationships. Candidates should have completed at least one seat in a respected Pensions team and be within commuting distance of central Edinburgh.
