This is a full-time position based in Edinburgh, with hybrid working available. Office attendance is expected three days per week, Tuesday to Thursday.
The successful candidate will have good knowledge and understanding of, or skills transferable to, public law in Scotland. They will also have previous paralegal experience or hold an undergraduate degree in a relevant field, such as law or medicine.
Key responsibilities will include:
Providing legal and administrative support to the Inquiry team.
Assisting with document review, evidence management and case preparation.
Conducting legal and factual research.
Supporting the progression of Inquiry work and delivery against key deadlines.
