A growing legal firm is seeking a Newly Qualified Litigation Solicitor to join its Credit Hire team in Glasgow.

Job Description

The successful candidate will manage a caseload of Credit Hire and RTA litigation matters, from pre-litigation through to proceedings in the Scottish courts, providing clear advice and working towards successful outcomes for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a busy caseload of Credit Hire and RTA claims.
  • Prepare pleadings, evidence and witness statements and manage disclosure.
  • Provide advice, assess prospects and negotiate settlements.
  • Attend court hearings both virtually and in person.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure cases progress efficiently.

The ideal candidate will be a newly qualified solicitor qualified in Scotland with experience of the Scottish civil court process essential. Candidates with some post qualified experience in recovery litigation within a commercial environment will also be considered. You should be able to manage a busy caseload independently and have strong organisational, communication, problem-solving and client care skills.
