This well-established Scottish law firm is recruiting a Construction Solicitor to join its non-contentious construction team in Glasgow.

Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to work across a wide range of projects, advising clients in sectors including renewable energy, infrastructure, real estate and residential development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising on construction matters at all stages of projects, from procurement through to delivery
  • Drafting and negotiating construction contracts, appointments and ancillary documentation
  • Supporting employer, developer, contractor and consultant clients on live projects
  • Reviewing and negotiating collateral warranties and development documentation
  • Working closely with colleagues across the firm on multi-disciplinary projects
  • Managing client relationships and ensuring delivery of high-quality legal advice

Applicants should be qualified solicitors, ideally with experience in commercial or construction law, although candidates with transferable skillsets and a genuine interest in construction will also be considered. Strong drafting ability, communication skills and the ability to manage a varied workload are essential.
