Our client, an international law firm is seeking a litigation solicitor to join its Vehicle Hire and Damage Team in Glasgow, offering a strong opportunity to build a career in Credit Hire and Motor Litigation.

Job Description

Working within a market-leading defender claims service team, you’ll be part of a group known for handling complex disputes and delivering data-driven insights to major insurance clients.

You will manage a varied caseload across Simple Procedure and Ordinary Cause matters, including complex and fraud-related claims. The role also involves collaborating on cases involving liability, indemnity, and associated losses, while developing client relationships and contributing to business development activities. Candidates with experience in personal injury, dispute resolution and/or insurance fraud are invited to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a caseload of credit hire, damage, fraud, and injury claims
• Act as a key client contact and provide legal updates
• Attend court hearings and support advocacy
• Contribute to business development and client engagement
• Maintain technical knowledge and meet performance targets

The ideal candidate is a qualified (or soon-to-qualify) Scottish solicitor with litigation experience, preferably in credit hire or motor claims. Strong communication, organisation, and commercial awareness are essential.
