This leading offshore law firm is recruiting an Associate to join its Litigation team in Jersey.

Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a broad range of high-value and cross-border disputes, advising financial institutions, fiduciary service providers, commercial entities and private individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising clients on a wide range of contentious matters, including trust disputes, insolvency, fraud, asset recovery and company disputes
  • Managing client matters, including legal research, drafting advice, preparing court documentation and supporting litigation strategy
  • Working closely with partners and colleagues on complex, multi-jurisdictional disputes and projects
  • Building strong client relationships while contributing to business development and the growth of the practice

Applicants should have 2-6 years’ PQE with relevant litigation experience gained in a UK or Commonwealth jurisdiction. Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills are essential, together with the ability to manage a varied workload and deliver excellent client service. Experience in offshore litigation would be advantageous but is not essential.
