A well-established specialist firm in central Edinburgh is seeking a qualified solicitor (NQ+) with experience in family or employment law to help develop and lead a new department within the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a new practice area within the firm
  • Provide high-quality legal advice and representation
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues while also handling a personal caseload independently
  • Contribute to the firm’s continued growth and client-focused ethos
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and specialist training

Team members are supported to pursue specialist training—including trauma-informed practice—and professional accreditation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone proactive, motivated, and confident working both independently and as part of a supportive team.
