Edinburgh | £65,000 - £75,000 DOE | Full Time

Beaumont Legal Recruitment is delighted to be working with a well-established and highly respected Scottish law firm to recruit an experienced Legal Practice Manager for its Edinburgh office.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a progressive and growing firm where you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day management of the practice, working closely with senior leadership to support the firm’s continued success.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, leading business support functions, and ensuring the practice continues to deliver an exceptional service to both clients and colleagues. This role offers the opportunity to make a genuine impact within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

The Role

Working closely with the Partners and senior leadership team, responsibilities will include:

Overseeing the day-to-day operational management of the Edinburgh office.
Supporting the delivery of the firm’s strategic and commercial objectives.
Leading and developing business support teams to ensure a consistently high standard of service.
Reviewing and improving operational processes, systems and efficiencies.
Supporting compliance with regulatory and risk management requirements.
Working collaboratively with finance, HR, IT and marketing functions to ensure the effective running of the practice.
Assisting with budgeting, resource planning and operational reporting.
Driving continuous improvement initiatives and supporting business growth.
Fostering a positive, collaborative and high-performing working culture.

About You

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

Previous experience in a Legal Practice Manager, Practice Manager, Operations Manager or similar leadership role within a law firm.
A strong understanding of legal practice management and the operational requirements of a professional services business.
Excellent organisational and project management skills.
Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire, motivate and develop teams.
Strong commercial awareness and a solutions-focused mindset.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
The ability to balance competing priorities whilst maintaining exceptional standards.
