Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced planning lawyer to become part of a highly regarded multidisciplinary practice, working on some of the UK’s most significant development and regeneration projects while contributing to the continued growth of a nationally recognised team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising clients on a broad range of planning, highways, and associated legal matters across multiple development sectors.
  • Supporting property and corporate transactions through planning due diligence advice.
  • Acting on contentious planning matters, including Planning Inquiries, hearings, judicial reviews, and court challenges.
  • Advising on major development and regeneration schemes from inception through to delivery.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships while supporting business development initiatives and practice growth.
  • Collaborating with planning, environmental, and development specialists to deliver commercially focused legal solutions.

Applicants should have significant experience in planning law and a strong understanding of the legal and commercial issues affecting development projects. Experience advising on planning applications, infrastructure projects, regeneration schemes, due diligence matters, and contentious planning work will be highly advantageous. Candidates should possess excellent communication and client management skills together with the ability to provide clear, pragmatic, and commercially focused advice.

You will be joining a highly respected Planning & Environment team known for its depth of expertise and involvement in high-profile projects across the UK.
