The team advises on a diverse range of non-contentious construction matters, including large-scale developments, infrastructure and energy projects, and urban regeneration.
The successful candidate will ideally have 7+ years’ PQE and will get the opportunity to play a key role in the continued growth of the Scottish practice, collaborating with colleagues across the UK and internationally to support a broad client base that includes developers, public sector bodies, and institutional investors. This is a client facing, fast paced role, and main duties will include:
Drafting and negotiating construction contracts, appointments, guarantees, warranties, and related documents alongside clients and their consultants.
Advising on procurement strategies and the use of standard and bespoke construction contracts, including NEC, JCT, FIDIC, and IChemE.
Writing articles and speaking at internal and external seminars.
Supporting business development activities to grow the practice in Scotland.
