The firm is a long-established private client practice, providing legal, financial, and administrative services to individuals, families, trusts, charities, and private companies.
You will handle your own diverse caseload while working alongside senior specialists on high-quality private client matters, including wills, powers of attorney, asset protection, succession planning, and tax issues. The role combines independent file management with collaborative work, providing tailored advice to individuals, families, business owners, and high-net-worth clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Advise private and high-net-worth clients on asset protection and succession planning.
Support families and business owners in selecting appropriate ownership structures, including trusts and partnerships.
Draft accurate legal documents and correspondence relating to wills, governance, estates, and tax planning.
Work alongside tax advisers and accountants to guide clients through tax considerations.
Assist clients in developing estate and business succession strategies.
Provide guidance to family businesses on continuity, conflict management, and philanthropic aims.
Manage your own caseload proactively while contributing to wider team projects.
Troubleshoot client issues professionally and efficiently.
Work towards meeting financial targets and maintain up-to-date knowledge of private client law.
Collaborate with external advisers—such as accountants and wealth planners—to deliver integrated solutions.
Build a professional network and contribute to business development.
Prepare thought-leadership content for online and professional publications.
Maintain strong internal working relationships and support colleagues across specialisms.
Ensure full compliance with financial, AML and record-keeping procedures.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with high-net-worth clients and trusts, strong commercial awareness, excellent accuracy and communication skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to pursue STEP qualifications are valued. Applicants with up to 2 years’ PQE or relevant transferable skills are encouraged to apply.
