Offered on an interim basis, the position is full time, with a possibility of extension.
The role will involve a varied caseload of litigation, including Court of Session proceedings with a particular focus on judicial review. There may also be occasional opportunities to handle matters before the Upper Tribunal.
Applications are welcomed from candidates with a minimum of one year’s PQE who hold a valid practising certificate issued by the Law Society of Scotland. Candidates should have experience in civil litigation, with Court of Session experience desirable but not essential. Experience in government work, administrative law, the devolution settlement and/or human rights law would also be considered.
