A genuine opportunity for an Insurance Partner looking for a platform with national reach, strong insurer relationships and the scope to make an impact in Scotland.

I’m working with a highly regarded national law firm with an established and growing insurance practice, which is looking to further strengthen its Scottish offering with an Insurance Partner.

The wider insurance team is substantial, with specialists covering casualty, catastrophic injury, professional risks, motor, disease, property damage, fraud, regulatory, reinsurance and other complex insurance disputes. The firm acts for a broad range of leading insurers, self-insured organisations and public sector clients, with a strong reputation for handling complex and high-value claims.

The opportunity:

The firm is looking for an established insurance specialist who can bring technical expertise, strong client relationships and a commercial approach, while playing an important role in the continued development of the Scottish practice.

You could have the opportunity to:

• Take a leading role on complex and high-value insurance litigation
• Build on an existing client network and develop new insurer relationships
• Work alongside a deep national network of insurance specialists
• Collaborate across Scotland and the wider UK on major and sensitive matters
• Contribute to the strategic growth of the Scottish insurance offering
• Develop and mentor a strong team around you
• Have real visibility and influence at Partner level

The practice has particular strength across defendant insurance litigation, including casualty, catastrophic injury, professional indemnity, disease, motor, property damage and professional risk, with access to wider specialist expertise across the national business.

Who I'm looking for:

I'm keen to speak with established Insurance Partners or senior insurance lawyers operating at Partner level who have a strong track record in the Scottish market.

You may specialise in areas such as:
