A leading Law Firm is seeking a Lawyer to join its Disease Team in Edinburgh or Glasgow.

Job Description

The role offers a hybrid working pattern and is part of the firm’s Insurance Division. The successful candidate will be based in either the Edinburgh or Glasgow office, working within a collaborative and technically strong team known for delivering practical and commercial solutions in defender insurance litigation.

The position involves managing a varied caseload of occupational disease claims, including noise-induced hearing loss, hand-arm vibration syndrome, asbestos-related conditions, and other long-tail matters. Responsibilities include drafting legal documents, conducting research, liaising with clients and experts, and supporting senior lawyers on complex cases.

The ideal candidate will be at the NQ-4 years’ PQE level and should have experience in defender disease or personal injury litigation, preferably representing insurers or corporate defenders, and demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.

The firm offers a dynamic and inclusive working environment, with a strong emphasis on professional development, diversity, and sustainability. If this position could be of interest to you, please do not hesitate to contact either Teddie or Cameron for an initial and confidential discussion. (Assignment 11377)
