This leading global financial institution is recruiting a Construction & Commercial / Technology Lawyer to join its Commercial, Innovation & Technology (CIT) Legal team in Glasgow.

Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to work at the intersection of construction, commercial contracting, technology and regulatory matters within a dynamic in-house legal environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising on the procurement and delivery of construction, workplace, facilities and real estate projects across multiple jurisdictions
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of commercial, technology and consultancy agreements
  • Providing strategic legal advice on risk management, compliance and governance matters
  • Supporting procurement, capital projects, technology and business teams on complex contractual arrangements
  • Advising on legal and regulatory issues affecting commercial service delivery within a regulated environment
  • Working collaboratively with stakeholders across legal, procurement, property and operational teams

Applicants should be qualified lawyers with relevant post-qualification experience, gained either in private practice or in-house. Experience advising on construction, real estate, infrastructure, commercial contracts or procurement matters is highly desirable. Exposure to technology agreements, outsourcing arrangements, or financial services regulation would also be advantageous. Candidates should be commercially minded, solutions-focused, and comfortable managing complex matters independently.

You will be joining a highly regarded legal team supporting significant projects and business initiatives across an international organisation. The role offers exposure to varied and high-quality work, excellent stakeholder interaction, and strong opportunities for professional development.

If this role sounds of interest, please contact Teddie or Cameron for a confidential discussion. (Assignment 18471)
