Draft pleadings, including ET3 responses
Maintain strong communication with clients, tribunals, representatives, and ACAS
Prepare witness statements, hearing bundles, and supporting documents
Produce prospects reports for instructing clients
Liaise with insurers where required
Update the legal team on case developments and client issues
Maintain current knowledge of case law and use internal research resources
Prepare for and conduct preliminary and full hearings, in person or remotely
Undertake judicial mediations
Support retained clients with non-contentious employment law and HR matters
Contribute to client updates, articles, and social media content
Promote the Firm and support business development activities
Maintain required CPD
Work flexibly when needed to meet client and Firm demands

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years’ PQE, and bring strong experience in Employment Tribunal work, particularly in representing employers. Excellent time-management, organisation, and negotiation skills are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively within a team of solicitors and contribute to shared learning. A high level of commercial awareness, combined with a proactive, client-focused approach, is key to succeeding in this role.

The position offers a competitive salary supported by a performance-related bonus structure. Employees also receive a strong benefits package and are encouraged to take advantage of flexible and hybrid working arrangements to support a healthy work–life balance.
