A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced English or dual qualified Family Solicitor to join a highly regarded and ambitious family law team to join a top tier independent Scottish law firm.

This role offers the chance to work on a broad range of high-quality family law matters, including complex financial disputes, child-related cases and cross-border instructions. The successful candidate will join a collaborative and supportive team with an excellent reputation in the market and a strong pipeline of challenging work.

The Opportunity:

You will advise a diverse client base on a wide range of family law matters while working closely with colleagues across the wider private client division.

The position provides excellent exposure to complex and high-value work, as well as the opportunity to play a key role in developing client relationships, mentoring junior team members and contributing to the continued growth of an established practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a varied caseload of English family law matters
• Advising clients on financial remedy, divorce and child cases
• Handling complex cross-border family law instructions
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and professional contacts
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team
• Delivering high levels of client service and technical expertise
• Assisting with business development initiatives and profile raising activities
• Contributing to internal training and knowledge sharing

About You:

• English or dual qualified solicitor with 3+ years' PQE
• Strong experience in family law, including financial and child-related matters
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Commercially aware and client focused
• Able to manage a busy workload with minimal supervision
• Team player with a collaborative approach
• Ambitious and motivated to develop your career within a leading practice
