This is a superb opportunity to join a close-knit team advising a diverse client base including individuals, entrepreneurs, landowners, and trustees, offering genuinely holistic legal and financial advice.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in a busy family law practice, advising on:
Separation, divorce, and cohabitation
Financial provision and child-related matters
Complex financial settlements
Draft pre/postnuptial and cohabitation agreements
Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court
Work closely with colleagues across tax, property, business, and litigation to deliver a complete service to a high net worth client base.
About You
3–5 years’ PQE with strong Scottish family law experience
Confident handling financial provision cases
Able to manage your own caseload with minimal supervision
Commercially aware with a pragmatic approach
A strong communicator with empathy, discretion, and client focus
Interest or experience in ADR (mediation, arbitration, collaborative law) is a bonus.
